You may recall back on the Services page, A.S.G., listed the availability of Videotape and Still Photography.

These services are offered as a part of the A.S.G. Risk Management Services.

By conducting a comprehensive pre-construction video tape survey of the site, local roadways, adjacent property lines, driveways, and the structures themselves can serve as your legal protection in the event of a property damage claim. Videotapes of existing conditions have been shown to eliminate vast numbers of claims once viewed or even just being mentioned. All videotapes are narrated to point out issues of concern.

Is your firm conducting roadway construction? How about that house with the bad chimney? Miss that one? It could cost you!! How about that fence that is badly rotted? You just may have to replace that, at your cost. Pre-construction videotaping catches all these issues for you.

Extensive interior condition surveys of abutting structures may be required as a part of a contract prior to start of work. Videotape and physical observation reports are available.

Videotaping of project conditions that may preclude your firm from performing its’ contract, may be that needed protection from back-charges and delay penalties.

Still photography for work progress status will also provide protection in the event of a contractual dispute. Inappropriate construction methods, bad craftsmanship or sub-standard materials can lead to hazards on your project, problems with your client, and possible liability charges in the event of injuries or other losses, protect yourself.

Taking photographs and videotaping can be done by anyone, but, for the purposes of credibility in disputes, a disinterested third party is your best bet.
